This includes CarolsCarouselShop, CarolsHolidayShop, and NativeNAfricanFigure. With the health issues that are a part of getting older, we often cannot meet the shipping deadlines. I haven’t been on this webpage for a long time, and I find that there are several new options including a way to pay for items you wish to order. Carol’s Carousel Classes
These are free online demonstrations on our Facebook page (same name) every Thursday from 6:00-8:00 eastern time. The first of each month is Play with Clay Day. Tuesday Tips & Tricks has been lax the past month or so, but we will try to reinstate the blog.

Party Van Workshops
We take a utility cart in our van loaded with everything needed for the workshop: bisque, paints, brushes, palettes, aprons, water bowls, specialty tools, and washcloths. These workshops are typically held at nursing and assisted living homes, but we can also go to schools, daycare centers, club meetings, and parties. Fee is $10 per person that basically covers the costs. This is usually paid by the facility from their activity budget. Minimum is ten painters and maximum is twenty; unless arrangements have been made for more. Members of Mahoning Valley Ceramists assist, and they receive credit as community service. Most facilities choose an alternate month schedule, and we are able to do no more that oner per week. If you know of someone who might like us to come, please let us know.

Special Kids Workshops
These workshops are for kids ages 3-93 who have disabilities. They are held the second Saturday of each month from 10:00-2:00. The cost is $10 per painter. Let us know you are coming and if an adult is staying to assist or whether we need a volunteer. If the time slot doesn’t work for you, we can schedule another class.

Traditional Classes and Workshops
Held on Monday evening 6:00-9:00 and Wednesday morning from 10:00-1:00. Open classes are alternated with workshops, although you can come at any time to work on your own pieces. Cost for an Open Class is $5.00 plus the cost of bisque which includes use of stains, underglazes, and firing. Workshops are typically $25.00 and sometimes include a video.
