The Warneke Family Thanksgiving Celebration was today with seventeen attending. We are all “stuffed” and the kids are all gone home. After the traditional dinner, we played a new game where you had to give your teammates clues using only one-syllable words. Did you know that idea has more than one syllable? Two people tried to use that word and got bonked on the head with an inflatable no stick.

Two family events happened this week. Our granddaughter Jessica married Joshua on Friday night at the Cleveland Zoo. The wedding dress was beautiful, and the party was wonderful with way too much food and drink. Jeremy kept Vanessa dancing all night and wouldn’t let her even take a break! Jessy & Josh didn’t make it to the Thanksgiving celebration today as they are off on their honeymoon. The Zoo Christmas lights were lit up and we got to see some of them on our ride to and from the parking lot.

Our oldest grandson, John, and his wife had their second child this week, a baby girl named Rose. Big Bro Callum stayed with Grandma Terrie for three days. This makes great number six for Jim and me. They are in Wisconsin, so we don’t get to see them very often.

Back to Work

We have taken a few days off getting ready for the events. But starting tomorrow we will be back to work cleaning up the studio and pouring molds, especially trees. Classes will resume on Monday and Wednesday evenings at 6:00 and Wednesday at 11:00. If your work schedule doesn’t coincide with our hours, we clean greenware Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings and can also make appointments for other times upon request.

We will also have our traditional LIVE on Thursday even though it is a holiday for everyone else (our kids celebrate with their in-laws). I have a couple of different ideas and will post closer to the day. Remember that the LIVE is every Thursday at 7:30 Eastern tine on Facebook Group Carol’s Carousel Classes. Order Trees

Several people have contacted me asking about trees. We don’t have enough turnaround to pour and stock a variety of trees. This year’s new addition is the birdhouse tree and the mold for the base just arrived. We have twenty-three trees for you to choose from. And don’t forget about our Old World Santas (thirty-nine) and Elf on the Shelf! We have been busy painting samples of the Old World Santas and have thirteen on display.
