Detroit Tigers vs. Seattle Mariners

The Tigers scored two runs in the first inning, and it was pretty much a no-hitter until the bottom of the 9th when Seattle scored two and tied the game. Seattle got one more run and won the game in the 11th inning.

Today’s game was at 1:00 and there was a slight breeze but it wasn’t as cold as the night games we’ve gone to. We couldn’t see the scoreboard again from our seats in section 138 — the catwalk for the cameramen was hanging down in front. Only two sections had these. Gr! But we could see the field well and the TV in our section. Notice the nice metal table all along the handicap section. That was nice (there was a folding table at one of the other parks), as were the padded folding chairs for companions.

Their mascot’s name is Mariner Moose! Watch for the latest additions to our baseball mascot menagerie. Stadium #29 today. One more to go! The Denver game is on Friday.
