Essentials I & II taught by
Duncan Ambassador Dru Woodward
on July 7, 2018
Pictures
There were nine new students working on their certification plus Carol updating hers. Carol & Jim have been certified Duncan Teachers since 1974.
Projects
We did seven projects and learned how to use the various Duncan underglazes: Concepts, French Dimensions, Cover Coat, and EZ-Stroke.
Food
We were working ALL DAY from 9:00 in the morning to 10:00 at night. And there’s glazing to do when we get back home.
- There were blueberry, chocolate chip, and banana nut muffins plus coffee and tea available upon arrival.
- We enjoyed a pot luck lunch with Jen providing sloppy Joes. Yum! Lots of good food. We set up in the dining room like we do for family dinners.
- Jim & Jeremy were our caterers for a delicious turkey dinner later in the day. Jim cooked and Jeremy set the table.
- Everyone agrees to do the same for our next training, Essentials III & IV in August. There was a special request for Jim to make his wonderful ham dinner!
Fun workshop
Waiting for all to arrive to do today’s F U N workshop, a Sand-Painting technique on the medium piggy bank.
