This ad has been posted on the Buy Sell Trade Facebook pages. The workshop is using Fashenhues (translucent stains) to add color to detailed pieces. Please check out the Old World Santa page on this website as there are 39 pictured to choose from. Old World Santas. You can also make these at any Open Class. However, if you have not used Fashenhues before you will need a lesson. You MUST order your Santas as there is not room on the shelf for all of them. Right now there are two waiting to be painted– Santa with Bells, and the Ohio Santa.

We are going to No Limits Alternative Center on Thursday morning to help 21 of their clients make lighted ceramic Christmas trees. Then next week we have Girl Scouts (14) and a new Home School group (9) coming to the studio. Two other groups are making plans but have not yet picked a date.
Reminder that Kids Krafts Christmas Tree Workshop is every Tuesday from 4 to 6. Trees are $20. (Class tomorrow)
Adult “Trees Only” Workshop is every Tuesday from 7 to 10. $20 and up depending on the tree you order. (No class tomorrow, though — it’s Star Trek Meeting Night!)
You do not have to come to a workshop to make trees. You can do them at any Open Class, in fact many people already are. However, you MUST register and order your trees ahead of time. We do have a few of the 705 Holland tree on the shelf plus a Tree Light and a Window Tree. But there are lots of orders for the large 342, large spruce tree, snowman tree, and football tree. Get in line!
You can make lots of other things besides trees including decorations & gifts!!

And who know what else will show up in the future.
Of course, there are LOTS of ceramic carousel items including horses and other menagerie animals in many sizes.
Deana will be taking pictures for us and posting the first ten items including several sets of matching earrings and bracelet, a couple of necklaces, and more.
This is a new tab on our current webpage where we will sell finished items directly to customers. It will contain many of the same postings as the Etsy site, but will ultimately have more items since there is no per item charge.
Lesa will be helping with the posts and how to add tags so that we get the best coverage on the net. She is our website and social media consultant.

This is a new adventure into the Carousel Crafts part of Carousel Creations. It is something I can work on sitting in front of the TV with my feet up. (LOL) Plans are to sell the jewelry online on our website and also on Etsy.

Just now posted this on the Facebook Page. You can also make trees at any open workshop. However, you must register first and order your tree. Trees can be done in white or green glaze or in stain. Add snow and glitter to the branches (even if glazed). Use a mixture of lights or choose your own colors. Bring a friend, your spouse, and your kids.
I hope that this answers everyone’s questions. We have been getting a lot of inquiries. If you want a finished tree, the price is usually $10 more than the bisque price (except for the very large trees which are extra.) However, they are not difficult to paint so why not come and make it yourself?
And what could be more Fun than making your own lighted ceramic Christmas tree?
My brother still has the one he made when he was twelve!
Also, a nice gift for older folks who don’t want a big tree anymore.

As seen yesterday (scroll down to read), we are promoting GROUP workshops for kids who want to make trees. Kids will choose from an assortment of three 7-8″ trees for $20. I posted an EVENT for November 1st and people have been misinterpreting the intent. November 1st is just ethe START of the Kids Groups tree workshops

You can schedule an adult workshop for your GROUP. We will try to accommodate the day and time you normally meet if possible. When you schedule I need to know how many are coming and if you want the small trees or something else.
This tree is #342 and comes plain, with one branch, or with two ($45 for 16.5″, $60 for 19″, and $75 for $22.5″).
